Why Explore India Guides Exists
Explore India Guides exists to make planning a trip to India feel exciting instead of overwhelming. The idea is simple: give you clear, honest, and practical guides you can actually use to book flights, choose routes, and enjoy your time on the ground.
India is huge, varied, and full of options. That’s amazing once you arrive—but confusing when you’re staring at flight search results and Google Maps. This site is here to close that gap.
What You’ll Find Here
Instead of vague “Top 50 places” lists, Explore India Guides focuses on:
- Real itineraries – Day-by-day routes with realistic travel times and pacing.
- Destination guides – Where to stay, what to see, what to skip, and how to get around.
- Planning guides – Visas, flights, budgets, packing lists, safety basics, and local etiquette.
The tone is friendly but structured: like traveling with a well-prepared friend who has done the research and actually understands how things work on the ground.
Starting with North India
Phase one of Explore India Guides starts with North India:
- Delhi and the Golden Triangle (Delhi–Agra–Jaipur)
- Rajasthan’s classic cities and desert experiences
- Himachal Pradesh hill stations and mountain escapes
- Ladakh and high-altitude journeys (for when you’re ready)
Over time, the guides will expand to cover the rest of India: South, West, East, and the Northeast.
The Roadmap
The plan for Explore India Guides is to grow in layers:
- Written guides and itineraries – the core of the site.
- “Listen” options – audio versions of key articles so you can learn while commuting or packing.
- Short video-friendly scripts – so each guide can also live as a quick explainer on platforms like YouTube and Shorts.
- Later, multilingual content – so more travelers can access useful, local-first information.
The goal is simple: to help you plan an India trip you’ll actually take—not just dream about.
